Hingham Veterans Services Director Keith Jermyn announced that the flag at the Town Hall was lowered today in honor of the victims of yesterday's Boston Marathon explosions. Jermyn said Governor Deval L. Patrick has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings immediately and until further notice.  The flags will be lowered at each town hall in the state, and each military installations and state-controlled buildings.
