Hingham Man Charged With Carrying Handgun and Drugs While Drunk Driving In East Bridgewater

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA — A Hingham man was arrested in East Bridgewater Wednesday after he was found with a loaded gun, drugs, and alcohol while driving drunk, police said.
Aaron Osborne, 37, was charged with carrying and concealing a handgun while intoxicated, possession of Class E and B drugs, operating under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, and speeding., according to the Enterprise.
Police pulled Osborne over at about 12:30 a.m. for speeding and driving a vehicle with revoked registration. Police say he was uncooperative while in the vehicle and when he stepped out for a sobriety test, he had glassy, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol on his breath.

During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly found crack cocaine, a crack pipe, a handgun loaded with five rounds, and muscle relaxants.
Osborne was released on $140 bail during his arraignment in Brockton District Court. He is due back in court Aug. 8.
