Hingham Man Drove While Standing Through Sunroof, Arrested for Driving with Suspended License: Police

HINGHAM, MA — A Hingham man driving with a suspended license was arrested after he was caught standing through the sunroof of his car, police said.

Ryan Delaney, 20, of Hingham, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, according to the Hingham Police Department.

On July 21 at about 3:55 p.m., police received a report of a man who was standing through his roof and driving near Home Depot. The caller told police that Delaney attempted to stop quickly in an attempt to get the caller to rear end him.

Police located the vehicle near South Elementary School on Main Street, where Delaney was taken into custody.
