Hingham Man Hits $2 Million Lottery Jackpot

Hingham's Paul Burke said said he's going to use part of the winnings to buy a Mustang.

HINGHAM , MA — A Hingham man hit the jackpot, winning $2 million on the Mass. Lottery's "$2 Million 50X Cashword" instant game. Paul Burke chose the one-time payment of $1.3 million after taxes. He said he's going to use part of the winnings to buy a Mustang.

Burke bought the winning ticket on July 29 at the Weymouth 7-Eleven at 11 Seat St. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

There's still one $2 million prize and two $1 million prizes yet to be claimed in the "$2 Million 50X Cashword" $100 instant game.
