Since our launch on this site has done its very best to fill the Patch of local news and information in Hingham.
As the Editor of Hingham Patch, I want to thank all of our readers for coming back every day, reading our stories, taking our polls, and contributing your opinions and own stories to Patch.

Thank you to all the Hingham businesses who have used Patch as a place to post your news and events. Thank you to all the community members who blog on Patch and all the local freelancers who have told fulfilling stories. And most of all thank you to all the Hingham residents who have informed other community members about our site.
As a South Shore resident who was born and raised in nearby Milton, I am honored to be covering the beautiful town of Hingham. I want to thank the residents, town officials, business owners and police and fire departments for being so kind and sharing information with Patch.

In one year, our site has grown so much. Hingham Patch, now draws almost 20,000 readers each month. We now have over 300 Likes on Facebook and over 750 followers on Twitter but we want to continue to grow.
