Hingham Police To Increase Patrols Targeting Impaired Drivers
Hingham police said they will use grant money to increase patrols with an eye toward deterring alcohol- and drug-impaired drivers.
HINGHAM, MA — Hingham police said they will use state grant money to increase patrols in an effort to keep the town's roads clear of alcohol- and drug-impaired drivers at the start of the new year. Police said patrols will be up over New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, and will continue through the next few weeks.
"Let's end the decade on a safe note," Hingham police posted on the department's Facebook page. "Let’s all make sure everyone celebrates responsibly and leave the driving to a sober driver, taxi or ride share service."
