Hingham Police Log: Bus Stop Vandalism, Suspicious Car Near Movie Theater, and More

July 11

3:45 p.m. - A male inside the Range and Bar Grille was reportedly mouthing off to employees. When police arrived and located the suspect, Edward Magee, 39, of Randolph, was arrested on a warrant.

12:26 a.m. - A caller at Patriot Cinema at the Hingham Shipyard report a vehicle that has been in the parking lot for the past two day. The caller told police a person was possibly sleeping in it. After police responded, the male was transported to Rhodes Place and he received a citation.

7:30 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Crooked Meadow Lane, Samantha Werner, 28, of Rockland, was arrested and charged with operating with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle/trailer.

11:03 a.m. - A 14-year-old that broke a bottle and climbed on top of the bus kios on Station Street was reported. An officer had the male clean up the mess and wait for the next bus.

3:33 p.m. - A brush fire was reported near More Brewer Park on Hobart Street.
