Hingham Police Looking For Package Thief Suspect

HINGHAM, MA — Police are looking for a man and a woman they said stole packages from the front door of a house on Wompatuck Road.

A witness told police Wednesday that he saw a man steal a package from the Crow Point neighborhood home. Police found some empty packages around the neighborhood and a few items they thought came from boxes. All shipping labels were removed.

Police said the witness described the suspects’ vehicle as an older Blue Ford Explorer. The witness said a woman was driving and a man was the passenger.

Police ask that any Hingham residents who are missing packages that were supposed to be delivered by 2 p.m., Wednesday call 781-749-1212.
