Hingham Police Salute 12-Year-Old Battling Cancer
Hingham police supported a young cancer fighter in town with a cruiser convoy and $5,000 donation.
HINGHAM, MA — The Hingham Police Department saluted a 12-year-old battling cancer with a cruiser convoy and a donation from Cops for Kids this weekend. Police said they surprised a "very brave" Jeremy Lavoie with the ride in a police car and presented the family with a $5,000 check to help with expenses related to treatments
The Hingham Police Department thanked neighboring departments for their help in making the convoy and impressive one as it made it to the Hingham Police Station.
