HINGHAM, MA - Hingham police are asking that drivers keep it slow as the town clears roads of covered Tuesday from the burst of snow overnight Monday and Tuesday morning. While conditions should improve as the week goes on, it could be tough going with freezing temperatures and slick roads the rest of Tuesday into Wednesday.

"Slow it down," Hingham police said of this accident (above photo) on East Street. "Speed limits are for the ideal road conditions. Snow covered roads are not ideal."

Hingham police said no injuries were reported when the truck struck a tree on East Street.
