Hingham Reopens Fields, Playgrounds Amid Coronavirus Crisis
The multi-purpose facility at Hingham High School is also now available by permit only - social distancing rules and restrictions apply.
HINGHAM, MA — Hingham is reopening its playgrounds, basketball and street hockey courts this week as part of phase two of the state's reopening from the coronavirus health emergency.
The town also announced that the multi-purpose secured facility, which includes the turf field, is available by permit.
Those using the facilities are asked to take precautions while using playground facilities. Face coverings must be worn when people, including most children, cannot maintain 6 feet of distance from others. Families attending playgrounds and public spaces are strongly advised to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer after leaving the area.
