Hingham Restaurant Owner Considering Making A Deal with Whitey Bulger
Mark Wahlberg has said "Whitey" Bulger wants him to come visit.
Mark Wahlberg, the brother of Hingham’s most famous chef Paul Wahlberg and co-owner of and , is considering meeting with James "Whitey" Bulger in jail.
has reached out to Wahlberg, the Hollywood star told the Hill-Man morning show on 107.3 WAAF- FM on Friday.
Wahlberg said there most likely won’t be a Departed sequel, but Bulger has reached out to the actor asking him to make a movie on his life.

“I actually got a call about coming and seeing Whitey,” Wahlberg said on the Hill-Man morning show. “He wants me to come down and visit him. Maybe he’ll give me the exclusive rights to tell his story because he knows we can do it better than anyone else."
Wahlberg did say his heart goes out to all the families of Bulger’s victims and that telling the story of the mass murder’s life is something that he will certainly explore.
