Hingham Square Owner Sells Business
A Hingham business will change its name and ownership next month.

The Creative Stitch will soon have a new owner and new name.
Kristen Ross who has owned the South Street business for 13 years has sold her yarn shop to one of her employees, Deborah Connolly.
Connolly, a Scituate resident, will take over on August 17. She plans to change the store’s name to “Yarns in the Square.”
Ross, who also lives in Scituate, said she is “moving on” and is looking forward to spending more time with her son. The longtime Hingham business owner is now finishing her masters in social work and hopes to pursue a new career.

“I love Hingham Square,” she said. “I like the traffic, the customer base and I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to my customers."
Creative Stitch is a yarn shop located at 28 South Street, that offers a wide variety of classes and workshops to cater to knitting and crocheting needs.
