Hingham Students to Compete on 'High School Quiz Show' This Weekend
Tune in to watch these students compete in the televised academic tournament on WGBH 2.

Hingham High School students will compete against Oliver Ames High School on the televised academic tournament “ High School Quiz Show” on Saturday, March 21.
Contestants will be quizzed on current events, general knowledge and Massachusetts high school curriculum standards in subjects including literature, history, science and math.
This will be the sixth season of “High School Quiz Show,” which is hosted by Billy Costa.

“WGBH is proud to bring an entertaining spin to the world of high school academics for the sixth year running,” said WGBH President and CEO Jon Abbott in a press release.
Tune in at 6 p.m. on WGBH 2 to watch these students compete.

Oliver Ames and Hingham are among 16 teams competing in the seeded, single-elimination tournament that is hosted by Billy Costa.
A regular in the tournament, Hingham has made it to the televised round for the past six years.
The school that comes out victorious on Saturday will advance to the second round of the tournament that will be aired on Saturday, April 25 at 6 p.m.
