Accomplishments: Will Barao, a fourth grader at , ranked number one of boys in his age category when he competed at the USA Swimming New England Championship in February.
Swimming since the age of two, Will began competing two years ago. Traveling to places like Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, Florida, Maine and Washington, DC, he said he most likes the competitive nature of the sport and the places it can take you.

This young champion is dedicated to his sport. Will can be found 5 days a week with the Weymouth Waves and he exercises core strength areas out of the water each morning and night.
He improved his time in all six events in which he competed at the championship meet. He now holds the honorable rank of being the 11th fastest nationally in the 500 freestyle, the 13th fastest in 200 freestyle and 14th fastest at 100 backstroke.
Focus and love for competitive swimming support Will in the challenging balance of school, family and work. His dreams include swimming at the college level and looks forward to becoming stronger and more advanced.
