How to Manage Poop

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with dog poop if it ends up in a place I'm not going to step in it. The purpose of plastic bags is to keep the poop out of people's paths. It is NOT to preserve the poop for Posterity! At least 3 people, judging from the variety of bags (blue, olive green, and pink with white flowers) don't agree with me. They are leaving their dog's leavings beside the sidewalks of Free and Union streets. To them: You are messing up a lovely town and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Please stop being piggish and behave like responsible citizens. My advice is to use the bag as a mitt and toss the stuff into the woods so you don't have to carry it. Then turn the bag inside out, fold it up, and put it in your pocket to use again the next time. At the end of the walk THROW THE BAG IN THE TRASH! Stop trashing our town. Thanks.
