Hull Man Charged with Selling Fentanyl Near Preschool

HULL, MA — A Hull man was selling fentanyl out of his home near a preschool, police said.
Richard Jankowski, 28, was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a class B substance, and a drug violation near a school zone, according to the Hull Police Department.
On Feb. 3, police executed a search warrant at Jankowski's Nantasket Avenue home. Upon arrival, police found Jankowski allegedly mixing what appeared to be Fentanyl in his bedroom. A search of the residence turned up Suboxone and numerous materials associated with the creation and distribution of Fentanyl.

The home is located across the street from the Hull Community Nursery School. The Drug Free School Zone law states that no drugs shall be possessed or distributed within 300 feet of a school. Jankowski's home is 167 feet away from the preschool, police said.
Jankowski is free on $290 bail pending his arraignment in Hingham District Court.
