Hundreds of Dead Pogie Fish Sitting in Hingham Waters Near Yacht Club
Residents say they've never seen anything like it before.

HINGHAM, MA — Something stinks in Hingham and it's coming from the water near the Hingham Yacht Club.
Hundreds of dead pogies have washed ashore in Hingham Bay, with some making it to land. FOX25 reports that some of fish washed back out to sea Thursday morning.

Local residents say they've never seen anything like this before and want answers. Pogies often die when they hit shallow water and NECN says some speculation includes the theory that a bluefish may have chased the fish in.
