A camp drive, the Junior Prom, and MCAS are making school news this week.

HMS Ambassador Club Camp Drive
The Ambassador Club held a camp drive last week for Sunset Point Camp in Hull and Camp Starfish in Rindge, New Hampshire. The club collected toiletries and sporting equipment for the two camps. Donors received a raffle ticket to win lunch on the cafeteria patio with 11 friends, catered by the Ambassador Club. No word on the winner as of this writing.
Notre Dame Junior Wins Art Competition

Notre Dame Academy junior Grace O'Donovan won Best in Show at the 10th Congressional District High School Art Competition. Grace's artwork will be displayed in the United States Capitol building for one year. Her award winning piece is a mixed media illustration of the creation of humanity titled “Genesis.”

The class of 2012 Junior Prom is this Saturday, May 14, from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. at . Attendees must buy tickets ($25) in advance as they will not be available for purchase at the door. Also, pictures for the junior video may be sent to hhsstuco2012@yahoo.com.

The Friends of Holly Hill Farm Contest
Holly Hill Farm announces an annual contest to reward thoughtful reflection on an important environmental or farm-based topic. Four cash prizes are awarded based on age. This new annual contest is for students in kindergarten through high school. Submissions can be a written essay, poetry, art or photography. Submission deadline is May 13. MCAS
The Math and Science portions of the MCAS exams will be administered for elementary and middle school students from May 10-May 19. Early bedtimes, good breakfasts and best wishes to all students.
