Lapels Dry Cleaning presents big check for Big Brother Big Sister

Lapels Dry Cleaning clothing drive to benefit Big Brother Big Sister generates a weighty response.

Lapels Dry Cleaning holds a clothing drive every year to benefit Big Brother Big Sister. This year’s drive took in a record amount of clothing from Lapels customers—16,093 pounds to be precise. The clothing will be sold through a variety of channels-- consignment shops, flea markets and online portals—with proceeds benefiting fund mentoring programs for young girls and boys in the states where Lapels Dry Cleaning stores participated—Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri and Arizona. Lapels Dry Cleaning of Cohasset, MA, collected the most pounds of clothes, 2900.
