Linden Ponds Donates to Hingham Food Pantry

Residents and staff walked a mile and then presented donations to the Hingham Interfaith Food Pantry

Hingham, MA -- More than 50 residents and staff from Linden Ponds, an Erickson Living retirement community in Hingham, walked a mile or two at the annual Linden Ponds Turkey Trot. The community also donated boxes of groceries to the Hingham Interfaith Food Pantry.

"Our annual Turkey Trot is always a big success but this was one of our best years ever," said Barbara Leary, Fitness Coordinator, Linden Ponds. "Food drive bins were out in all the clubhouses and both people who live and work here were able to donate. Linden Ponds and the Hingham Interfaith Food Pantry have a great relationship and we enjoy helping them every year."

After the walk, everyone enjoyed activities inside along with refreshments.
