Linden Ponds Residents win 20 Gold Medals at Olympics

Six people who live at Linden Ponds in Hingham placed in the Quincy Senior Olympics.  

They won 20 Gold Medals and 2 Silver in their age group! 

Ed Petcavage; 5 Medals           Gold – Bowling,  Darts, One Mile Walk,  Half Mile Walk, Javelin  

Ted Coburn; 8 Medals             Gold - Standing Long Jump, Golf Putting, Half Mile Walk, Horseshoes, Basketball Free Throws, Shot Put, Javelin, Discus

Gus Diezemann; 5 Medals      Gold – Golf Putting, Horseshoes, Basketball Free Throws, Shot Put, Discus

Mary Roever; 3 Medals            Gold – Standing Long Jump, One Mile Run    Silver – Softball Throw

Barbara Smith; 1 Medal        Silver - Bowling   

Joan McGrath                         Progressed to the Bronze Round of Bocce
