Natural Gas Night Work In Hingham

Night work on the natural gas main on East Street will begin in March.

HINGHAM, MA — National Grid is committed to safely and reliably delivering energy for the community. That's what the natural gas man is been replaces at 4 to 263 East Street, 17 to 51 Leavitt Street and 1 to 12 Rockwood Road.

As part of this project, we will also replace the natural gas service piping that connects the main to the customer’s gas meters. Approximately 93 premises are within the construction limits.

Work is scheduled to begin on or about March 8 and conclude around Nov. 27. Construction will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m Sunday through Friday.
