NDA Cross Country Wins Martha's Vineyard XC Invitational

Seven runners finished in the top 15 in the Martha's Vineyard Invitational 5k race on Saturday leading the Hingham private school to a victory.

Notre Dame's Cross Country team defeated other high schools across the state including Shepard Hill, Sandwich HS, Plymouth North, Falmouth, Milton Academy, Durfee HS, Sturgis East, New Bedford, Barnstable, and Martha's Vineyard.

NDA sophomore Elizabe Costantino finished fourth overall, with a team-best time of  20:27.20.  Constantino was followed by senior Mollie O'Leary who placed fifth with an impressive time of 20:40.46.  

Seconds later, Notre Dame upperclassmen finished from 10-14th place.  Junior Olivia Lanagan placed 10th with a time of 21:09.62. She was followed by Shauna Owen, Clara King, Taylor Kennedy, and Grace Pixler who all finished the race within 21 minutes.
