HINGHAM, MA - Efforts to find a new superintendent for the Hingham Public School are well underway.Superintendent Dot Gallo told the School Committee Monday that she hopes to have a reccomendation for the board by May 23.As of Monday, 18 people have appliced for the job, with the nine-member search committee holding an organzational meeting Wednesday.The screening committee, made up of school committee members; teachers; administractors; and members of the community, are charged with looking at applications and interviewing candidates.
