Nearly 20 Apply for Hingham Assistant Superintendent Opening
A recommendation for the opening is expected by late May.

HINGHAM, MA - Efforts to find a new superintendent for the Hingham Public School are well underway.
Superintendent Dot Gallo told the School Committee Monday that she hopes to have a reccomendation for the board by May 23.
As of Monday, 18 people have appliced for the job, with the nine-member search committee holding an organzational meeting Wednesday.

The screening committee, made up of school committee members; teachers; administractors; and members of the community, are charged with looking at applications and interviewing candidates.
