New Memory Care Neighborhood Schedules Opening in Hingham

The new program will be designed for older adults who have Alzheimer's disease or a related memory disorder.

Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group will open a  new Memory Care Assisted Living Program at the Hingham Allerton House in Crow Point in October.

The program will be designed for older adults who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder.

The new memory care neighborhood will feature a total of 13 rental apartments, including 10 studios and three companion, according to prweb.com.

In February, Richard Welch, president, Welch Healthcare & Retirement Group told PRWeb that the opening of the program is in response to an overwhelming need for memory care services in a supportive residential setting.

Features of the program will include:
  •  A dedicated, dementia-trained team, 24-hours a day.
  •  Three nutritious meals daily in the Memory Care Dining Room  Personal care assistance and medication management.
  • Secure environment, featuring a wide range of indoor and outdoor common areas.
  • Engaging activities and events designed to promote positive, satisfying experiences.
