No Charges For Driver In Fatal Hingham Crash
The driver in a fatal December crash will not be charged.

HINGHAM, MA — A driver in a fatal December crash will not face charges, police said.
At about 11:14 a.m. on Dec. 5, a pedestrian in front of Hingham District Court on George Washington Boulevard was struck by a truck, according to the Hingham Police Department. A preliminary investigation indicates the that the person, identified as a 56-year-old Bridgewater resident Heidi Folsom, was struck in the road by a 2016 Ford F350 that was traveling north. The woman was transported to South Shore Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Following an investigation, police have concluded that the truck driver’s actions did not contribute to the crash and the crash was not the result of a traffic violation. Because the driver of the truck is not being charged, his name is not being released.
