North Street Community Church Holds Auction For Kids in Guatemala
The paintings of Reyna Elizabeth, a 17-year-old from Guatemala will be sold in Hingham to benefit her home's kids' center.
Seven beautiful paintings that hang in small corner of the The Ktizo Gallery & Nook at the North Street Community Church will be auctioned off next week to benefit a kids’ center in Guatemala City.
The painting were donated to the small Hingham parish by Reyna Elizabeth, a 17-year-old girl, who members of the parish met on mission trip to a poverty-stricken area of Guatemala City last May.
All of her paintings will be sold in a online auction from Sept. 9-16 on www.ktizoart.org and 100 percent of the proceeds will support the Guatemalan kids’ center, Gotitas de Amor.

pastor Jeremy D. Scott said Reyna’s homeland is very financially-strapped area and the kids have very little to no opportunities. The Hingham pastor hopes to auction will raise hundred’s for Reyna’s child center.
The Hingham public is invited to view her paintings on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the church’s Newell Gathering Room in the chapel. This will be the kick-off to the auction.
