September 12, 2017 – Hingham, MA – Old Colony Montessori School (OCMS), located at 247 Gardner Street in Hingham and enrolling students ages 2.9 and up, welcomed over 200 students, parents, alumni and community members in celebration of the completed Stronger Together Project outdoor campus enhancements on Saturday, September 9, 2017.
The Stronger Together Project, raising over $200,000 throughout the 2016-2017 school year, allowed for completion of a new outdoor classroom, new Childrens House playground, new hardtop/sports court area, shaded picnic and learning spaces, enhanced organic gardening areas, new website, security and safety system and robust professional development program for OCMS.
This capital campaign, the largest in OCMS history, was the result of generous giving and support from current parents, alumni students and parents and the community-at-large.

The new OCMS outdoor classroom, named “Tracy’s Woods” in honor of 43-year veteran OCMS Head Teacher, Tracy Stillman, was officially dedicated to the school during the celebration.
