Oktoberfest Returns to Hingham With Beer, Yodeling, and Dancing
The annual Oktoberfest will feature singing, dancing, yodeling, beer, and authentic German food.
Next weekend, Hingham residents are invited to drink German beer and bratwurst, eat Authentic German food and sing and dance to lively music by King Ludwig's Bavarian Band right on Main Street.
The traditional Oktoberfest celebration is held each Fall in Hingham at the Lutheran House of Prayer and this year will returning for a 27th year.
At the annual two day celebration from Sept. 29-39 , local residents will get the chance the endure the test that is stein-holding and yodeling. There will also be a craft fair, a silent auction, raffle, bake table, kids corner and a collection for the local food pantries.

Admission is a non-perishable food item to be donated to local food pantries and parking is free.
The event will be held at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church located at 916 Main Street, Saturday, September 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 30, from noon to 4:00 p.m. Rain or shine.

Organizer Millie Hill said all proceeds from this festive event are donated to world-wide missions, local food pantries and social ministry agencies.
