Old Ship Church's Parish House for Sale
The church's congregation recently voted to put their parish house on the market.
HINGHAM, MA - Want to buy a parish house in Hingham? There's one now for sale.
On May 1, the congregation of the Old Ship Church in Hingham voted to sell their 150-year-old parish house, according to the Boston Globe. The house and the land are on the market for just under $4.8 million.
The proceeds from the sale will be used to build a smaller parish house on vacant land next to the meeting house.

Whoever buys the house will have a lot of work to do. Nina Wellford Price, president of Old Ship’s board of trustees, said that the building will need about $700,000 of work in the near future.
