Planning Board To Talk Marijuana Regulations

The Planning Board has scheduled a meeting for Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. to discuss the regulation of the sale and consumption of marijuana.

From the Town of Hingham:

The Planning Board has scheduled a meeting for Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. to begin discussing the regulation of the sale and consumption of marijuana not medically prescribed. This use is currently prohibited by a moratorium which expires June 30, 2018.

The Planning Board wants to hear from the public as to their opinions about what a potential zoning regulation of this use should consist of, with a focus on regulating the time, place and manner of the use in Hingham as they begin this important discussion.
