Police Identify Man Killed In Scituate Bulldozer Accident

SCITUATE, MA — Police have identified the man killed last Friday after getting run over by a bulldozer.

John Medeiros, 61, of North Attleboro, was working at a construction site on Sixth Avenue. Scituate Police Chief Michael Stewart told the Patriot Ledger Medeiros knelt down behind a bulldozer. The driver did not see Medeiros before he backed-up and accidentally ran him over.

According to police, the back up alarm was working on the bulldozer during the accident. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident, WFXT reported.
