Police Log: The Attracting of Wild Turkeys, Improper Use of Credit Cards, and more

March 9

6:17 p.m. - A caller on Rocky Run Road reported issues with a neighbor. She told police that the neighbor is putting out food for wild turkeys and it has attracted a large group of turkeys that are aggressive. Neighbors are having problems getting to their vehicles due to the turkeys. The food has also started to attract deer, who are causing damage to the bushes in people’s yards.

11:24 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Street, Kali Steward, 43, of Holbrook, was arrested and charged with failure to stop for police, operating to endanger, operating a motor vehicle with suspended or revoked registration, and having an uninsured vehicle.

March 10

11:08 p.m. - Christopher Dilpher, 33, of Fall River, turned himself into police at the police station. He was arrested on a court warrant as a fugitive from justice and charged with four counts of improper use of a credit card under $250, receiving stolen property over $250, speeding, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
