Police Log: False Check, Public Urination, and More
The following is from the Hingham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned do not imply conviction.

December 21
6:04 p.m – A caller at Rockland Trust on Sgt. William B Terry Drive reported a person attempting to cash a counterfeit check. After police arrived, Steven Fishman, 28, of Springfield, was arrested and charged with uttering a false check and forgery of a check.

4:47 p.m. – A hitchhiker was reported on Liberty Road. The party was advised to stay on the sidewalk.
6:23 p.m. – A caller told police that while stopped at the railroad tracks near the intersection of Hersey and South Streets, a person got out of the vehicle in front of them and urinated. The car did not move when the railroad gate opened and cars had to swerve around the suspect’s vehicle.

December 23
8:30 a.m. – A two-car crash was reported near the intersection of Gardner and Whiting Streets.
6:22 p.m. – A hostile male at Wahlburgers at the Hingham Shipyard was given a no trespassing order.
10:15 p.m. – A fight between two males was reported at Bank of America on Whiting Street.
