Police Log: Larceny, Three-Car Crash, and More

April 1
7:55 a.m. - A caller at the intersection of Rockland and Summer Streets reported a BMW that was driving on the sidewalk towards the rotary. Police were unable to find the vehicle.

3:12 p.m. - A juvenile shoplifter was caught at Kohl’s on Derby Street. The suspect was released to their mother.
3:19 p.m. - A three-car crash was reported at the intersection of French Street and Fresh River Avenue.

6:50 p.m. - A car crash was reported by Gourmet Garden on Whiting Street. A person was transported to South Shore Hospital.
April 3
1:35 a.m. - Brian Buckley, 38, of Cohasset, was arrested during a traffic stop on Otis Street and charged with possession of a Class A drug, not having a license in possession, and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license (subsequent offense).
5:17 p.m. - Dianne Benner, 54, of Weymouth, was arrested at Kohl’s on Derby Street and charged with larceny over $250.
