Police Log: Pete's Barber Shop Vandalized

The following is an excerpt from the Hingham Police Log from Tuesday, November 15. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, November 15:

At 7:15 a.m. a water leak was reported at the South Shore Country Club.

At 9:17 a.m. a caller reported a car hit a telephone pole on Cushing Street.  The pole was split and the telephone company was contacted.  The vehicle was towed. The accident occurred in the area of 212 Cushing Street.

At 4:59 p.m. a caller reported logs in the roadway at the intersection of Free Street and Bradford Road.

At 5:42 p.m. a manager at Derby Street Shoppes contacted Hingham Police after a male who stole 25 North Face jackets , returned to the Hingham store.

At 9:30 p.m. a resident passing by Pete’s Barber Shop noticed the window of the barber shop had been smashed and vandalized.
