Police Log: Stranger in a Home, Reported Break-in, and More

6:23 p.m. - A caller on Martins Lane reported a male walking into his home and then walking out into the neighborhood. The caller stated that the person seemed dazed. Police placed the man in protective custody.

4:01 p.m. - A caller reported a group of kids playing football and passing around a pipe in the parking lot at Talbots on Churchill Road. The group was advised and left the area.

9:36 p.m. - A caller on Newbridge Street reported someone attempting to break into a house. Police on the scene reporters that the motion lights were set off by a resident.
