Police Log: Three OUIs in 24 Hours, Speeding, and More

The following is from the Hingham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned do not imply conviction.

April 17

1:05 a.m. - Michael Bell, 37, of Scituate, was arrested near Bathing Beach on Otis Street and charged with negligent operation to endanger, a marked lanes violation, OUI, and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

1:17 p.m. - Gay Winn, 51, of Cohasset, was arrested at the Hingham Rotary on Summer Street and charged with an OUI, negligent operation to endanger, and marked lanes violation.

5:30 p.m. - A person told police that they saw a vehicle hit a light post near Harbor House Nursing and Rehab on Condito Road and two males took off towards Alleton House. After locating the males, Peter O’Neill, 33, of Hull, was arrested and charged with his second operating under the influence of liquor offense, reckless operating to endanger, leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violation, and furnishing liquor to a person under 21. William Donovan, 21, of Hingham, was charged with furnishing liquor to a person under 21,

6:38 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near AJ’s Gulf on Lincoln Street, Leonel Tobar-Lopez, 19, of Lawrence, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation.
