August 3

12:18 p.m. - A hit and run was reported on Summer Street.

2:23 p.m. - A woman crossing the street was hit by a car taking a turn at the intersection of Chief Justice Cushing Highway and East Street. One person was taken to South Shore Hospital.

11:24 p.m. - A car that struck a pole on Downer Avenue was reported.

August 6

6:13 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Street, Nilson DeJesus, 55, of Medford, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

August 8

A caller by Whitney Wharf said they were following a vehicle that was all over the road and struck another vehicle. After the vehicle was pulled over, Angela Angle, 40, of Braintree, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense), three counts of operating under the influence with a child under 14 in the vehicle, operating to endanger, and marked lanes violation.
