Police Release Sketch of Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Elderly Hingham Woman

HINGHAM, MA — The Hingham Police Department has released a composite sketch of a man who they say broke into a home and sexually assaulted an elderly woman.
On June 28 at about 9:02 p.m., a resident in North Hingham called 911 to report the incident. The victim told police that the suspect had gained entry into the home by forcing open a ground floor window. Once inside the home, he sexually assaulted the woman and fled on foot. Police were unable to located the suspect. police said.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 65 years old, gray thinning hair, brown eyes and a thin build. The victim does not know the suspect.

The sketch was the only update in the case as of Saturday night but police say identifying the suspect remains a top priority.
