The resident has a dog that does bark when people approach. It’s possible the suspect(s) may have been scared away by the dog. Officers also found fresh damage on the front lawn of the house directly across the street (tire marks on the front lawn and mailbox knocked down). It’s possible it may have been from the suspect(s) quickly driving away.
The house is in the #200 block of Old Derby Street beside Route 3, at the Weymouth line.
