Samaritan Helps Elderly Woman Whose Car Dies In Hingham Traffic
An elderly woman panicked when her car all of a sudden shut off in the middle of a busy Route 3A intersection. Thankfully, someones stopped.

HINGHAM, MA — It was Tuesday afternoon; an elderly woman from out of state was visiting from out of state and borrowed her friend's SUV. But all of a sudden, the car shut off in the middle of a busy intersection at Route 3A and HMS Essington Drive. Police said the woman panicked as cars drove around her beeping, and some drivers started yelling at her.
Hingham police thanked the one woman who instead of making the situation worse, decided to get out of her car and help.
"Kudos to the patient and kind woman who stopped (safely) and got out to calm the woman and help her," Hingham police said in a post on social media. "She worked with us to figure it out what happened. A short time later, the SUV was running again."
