Scituate Woman Deploys Glitter Bomb Trying To Catch Package Thief
A glitter bomb the woman bought online for $2.99 went off and left a glittery trail for police to follow.
SCITUATE, MA — A woman living in a Scituate apartment was tired of her packages getting stolen from the lobby. So, she took matters into her owns hands and set a glittery trap.
On Friday morning, Melissa Peralta left a package out and just as she hoped, the thief took the bait, WBZ 4 reported. A glitter bomb Peralta bought online for $2.99 went off and left a glittery trail. Peralta called police. They followed the trail, but it unfortunately didn't lead to the suspect.
“Well, the police couldn’t ID the perp, but whomever it is, is definitely ‘shining on’ in their instant karma right now!” Peralta posted on Facebook.
