Seat Belts Prevent Injuries in Hingham Rollover
Police say the crash could have been worse.
HINGHAM, MA — A crash from over the weekend could have been a lot worse if not for seat belts and airbags, police said.
Sunday afternoon, police and fire crews in Hingham responded to a rollover crash on Gardner Street. Both the driver and the passenger in the vehicle were able to go home and did not require medical attention at a hospital, police say.
The department wrote on Facebook they avoided a trip to the hospital because both people inside the car were wearing seat belts and the airbags deployed.
