Shoplifting, Snowball Attack, Warrant Arrest: Hingham Police Log

The following is from the Hingham Police Log. Arrests and charges don’t imply conviction.

January 26

11:09 a.m. - A clerk at Marylou’s on Whiting Street requested an officer for an ongoing shoplifting issue.

8:50 p.m. - A caller reported kids throwing snowballs at cars on Cushing Street. The kids were gone upon arrival.

January 28

12:35 a.m. - Jason Adams, 26, of Hull, was arrested on two warrants during a traffic stop on Summer Street.

1:42 a.m. - A caller reported a vehicle that hit a pole by Redeye Roadsters on Otis Street. According to the report, the vehicle was swerving all over the road, hit a snowbank, and then the pole. One person was transported to South Shore Hospital and the driver received a citation.
