South Shore Conservatory Holds Registration For Summer Programs

Registration is open for South Shore Conservatory's summer programs.

South Shore Conservatory is holding open registration for their abundant summer 2013 performing arts programs for students of all ages at their Hingham and Duxbury campuses.

The Conservatory’s Music Together classes for students from infancy through age four, a gentle introduction to the world of music, is offered at both Conservatory locations, Our World Children's Global Discovery Museum in Cohasset and Inly School in Scituate starting the week of June 10.

Other classes available at the Hingham campus are The Arts Tell a Story for ages 3-6, Drum & Sing for ages 4-6, and Primo Voice Class for ages 7-9.

Drama takes center stage this summer with Let’s Put on a Show for ages 6-11 at the Duxbury campus and Curtain Going Up for ages 4-7, and Summer Stage Camp for ages 8-15 at the Hingham campus.  No previous drama experience is necessary to participate.

For adults, SSC offers Woman Song, an weekly ensemble for women singers, at the Hingham Campus starting on June 12 and, new this year, DMF Adult Chamber, two days of chamber music for adult amateurs on July 13 and 14 at the Duxbury Campus.

Students who play an instrument or love to sing may participate in programs such as Rock Camp, Jazz Camp, Summer Music Festival, DMF Prep, Summer Vocal Institute and Flute Symphony. For audition information and schedules, please visit www.sscmusic.org.
