Two Hingham Schools Make Preseason Cross Country Top 20 Poll

The preseason high school cross country Top 20 poll was released by the MSTCA XC Committee this week.

Hingham and Notre Dame Academy were both ranked in the top 20  for girls' teams.

Hingham ranked No. 19 in the large schools category, while Notre Dame Academy was ranked No.9 in the list of small schools.

The poll will come out weekly on Monday's starting September 9.

It is broken down by Division 1 and 2 Statewide when they compete in the MIAA All State meet. The XC Committee is made up of 12 coaches across the state with Scott Outlett, Lowell HS-serving as Chair  and Stephen infascelli, Mashpee HS as Vice chair as the lead coaches for the Fall season.
