VIDEO: Driver Hit Pulling Out In Front Of Hingham Cruiser
Hingham police urge drivers to pay attention to the road after a car ran a stop sign and got hit by a cruiser with its emergency lights on.
HINGHAM, MA —Hingham police are urging drivers to pay attention to the road and their surroundings after a car rolled through a stop sign and pulled out in front of a Hingham cruiser with its emergency lights on before getting smashed in the rear driver's side door. The Hingham officer was responding to a call on Friday at about 2 p.m. when the crash occurred.
Hingham police said there were no injuries in the crash and credit the use of seat belts and airbags for the crash not being more serious than it was.
Hingham police posted the video of the crash - without sound - on its Twitter account Wednesday afternoon.
