Villani of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Elected to Perkins Board of Corporators

Pat Villani, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England, has been elected to serve on the Board of Corporators at Perkins.
“Perkins holds a very special place in my heart, and I am proud to continue to support this wonderful organization which works so hard to empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired. In addition to providing critical support to families around the world by connecting them with vital resources and information, Perkins also makes a difference in our community as well,” said Villani. “I am truly honored that I have been selected to serve as a member of the Corporation.”
Members of the Corporation represent a diverse group of people who lead, act and advocate to advance Perkins’ work locally and globally. They are responsible for keeping informed of activities at Perkins, assuring that the Board of Trustees is functioning, and meeting annually to elect members of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Corporators. The Corporation is made up of experienced and well-informed individuals who may assume even greater responsibilities in the governing of Perkins in the future.

Villani, a resident of Hingham, has served as president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England since 2012. Villani has been an ardent champion of several nonprofit organizations in the region and oversees the Advisory Committee of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the charitable foundation of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England.
Under Villani’s leadership, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares hosted a celebration and fundraiser in 2013 that raised $80,000 for Perkins.

With more than 30 years of experience, Villani began her career as a sales associate assisting homebuyers and sellers in Hingham and the surrounding South Shore communities and quickly emerged as a top real estate professional in New England.
She and three partners purchased a real estate firm in the mid-1980s. After selling her ownership stake in the company, Villani became manager for a top-producing sales office and was promoted to regional manager at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. She was promoted to regional vice president, overseeing 16 offices with approximately 800 sales agents at Coldwell Banker, and in 2011 was named the company’s senior vice president and general sales manager.
